MITIMCo is a challenging and rewarding place to work. Below are some examples of the things we like to do, outside of investing.
MITIMCo participated in our first annual J.P. Morgan Corporate Challenge in Boston on Thursday, June 24, 2010. The Corporate Challenge is a 3.5-mile running event open to groups of full-time employees from organizations within the business and public sectors. Proceeds from the race will support a non-profit organization in Boston and the "Teaming Up For a Greener Tomorrow" program.
The MITIMCo team members wore a T-shirt designed by one of our employees, Nathan Bucholtz. His design was selected through a voting pool as the winner of our office T-shirt contest, and will be entered into the official J.P. Morgan Corporate Challenge T-shirt contest. One winner will be chosen from all entries in each of two categories: most creative, and best representation of the Corporate Challenge's greening slogan. The JPMorgan Chase Foundation will make a $1000 donation to a not-for-profit organization designated by each winning company.

Over the past three years, MITIMCo's vaunted Mudhens take the field as part of the MIT Intramural Softball League. Although we earn our share of wins, the priority is to participate in a fun and relaxing recreation with colleagues. The league runs from late May through early August, and all employees are strongly encouraged to participate regardless of experience or skill level. The team serves as a great opportunity to interact outside of the work setting and enjoy the nice weather. Go Mudhens!
